All the shade sail fabrics that we use have a manufacturer's warranty lifespan of 10-12 years.

All our shade sails and structures are custom designed and made for any area, domestic, commercial, and industrial.

Shade cloths and colours have different shade and UV-R factors. For example, black has 99% UV-R and 97% shade. Visit our Fabrics and Colours page to learn more.

All the fixing points attached to your property have been individually engineered for Anthony's Shade Sails. Each application is unique which is why we custom design and manufacture sails to fit.

Each job requires different size posts and footings. All posts are Duragal or galvanised and powder coated in the colour of your choice. A typical post for a 40-square metre shade sail is 100x100x4mm with concrete footings of 350x1000mm. Flange base posts are bolted to an existing concrete slab of a 200mm thickness.

Depending on the size, it generally takes 3 weeks from deposit to completed job. All fitting points and posts are manufactured and installed first, then measured from point to point and custom made in our sail loft.

At Anthony's Shade Sails we can source many different materials as required for different applications. We use H.V.G. Solarblock and Extrablock shade cloth that has a 12-year manufacturer's warranty. We also use DRI-Z waterproof shade cloth which has a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. Ferrari PVC vinyl waterproof membranes have a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

We recommend that you take down your shade sails in 'high winds' and when severe storm warnings are issued. We do not define 'high winds' as it depends a lot on the age and the area of the shade sails.

Maintenance

There are many factors which have a bearing on the maintenance required for shade sails. We recommend that you give them a good hose down twice a year and do an inspection of them every 2 years. We provide a wash, restitch, and repair service.
